OTHER US

Anybody ever notice how different reflections appear, mirror to mirror?  Some

flatter and others accentuate flaws.  The who am I question looms large when

preparing to present the best self possible to the world.  Expressions change with

thought, emotion and health.  Feeling good makes you look good.  So if somebody

asks you who you are, you can simply answer “I am the best me and other me I can be, how about you”?

OTHER    US

Who am I? Who are you?

Who the blankety blank are we?

Really?

There’s the machine us, the genetic us

and all the uses we’d rather be.

Our other us can do and be anything

go further than eyes can see.

We’re not held back by what we seem, we can fly by our pant seats,

up, up and away

we can act points better than averages say.

We look wide inside, aware what we’re not

hey, we even know we’re hot when we’re hot!

In the middle of the night, when watchdogs don’t watch, or do they?

We write our IMO’s as deep-end stories, in scrupulous selfie script

note details in emotional triplicate, unaccording to Hoyle.

YO, we can click ourselves on, and YEP, there we are, the other us!

User named and password coded.  If we find tags

tweedle-dee or tweedle-dum taken

we deal with it, like natural born aberration erasers.

We understand the experience, WE GOT THIS.

We’re championistas, new age thinker individualists,

we are who we are, that’s our cred.

Every day in every way we change the world

No questions asked. BOOYAH!

In other words, Happy Othering!

GLADLY OILY

People used to say “Don’t worry, Be happy.”  Now, some may say, hmmm, happiness might be all about your personal power, and the resulting recognition of you.  Thing is, not to worry, there is not another you.  Being happy in spite of what worries is a powerful, strong mind frame tool.  It’s a point of view asset that not only emphasizes your positives, it also enhances your appealing standout.

Forget about sadly as in a badly

life choiced condition, consequence driven,

the picking of one path instead of the other

think happily young, not to be outdone

by the changey chance life rearranger.

Age is not all that’s gotten from experience.

If stumble feet drench in detentional trench

throw away the dull and the spongey.

Oh, and don’t give the splash a tinker’s dam.

Cross muddy puddles of bad

immersed viscous, full body clad

in thick, slick oily comprehension.

Remember life is what you do gladly

when you’re not dead sadly

and that’s the unchancey, unchangey non-rearrangey truth!

Patt Awes:  After Words End Says:  Sometimes life may be as simple as  “one-two buckle your shoe,” or “three-four shut the front door,” but it’s not overly complicated.  Breathe in…Breathe out…Breathe in…Breathe out…Repeat.

ALPHABET

Hearts and flowers make us think of love and romance and special occasions like Valentine’s Day.   Poetry captures the feeling and makes emotions capable of being realized by the mind.

LOVE COOKIE ALPHABET POEM

A is for the attraction

B is for the boy

G is for the girl

L is for the love poem of passion

They create

When they discover love.

A is for the affection they feel

B is for the bouquets of meaning

They’re very swept away by

And C is for the cookie

Lovers bake

When they make

Delicious love between them.

What say?  Enhancement contrast: White of snow emphasizes
