Eclipses of sound
move up and down
over and through
ins and outs
of human pathways that listen.
Energy tills ungrounded sounds
courses up
courses down
holds terrestrial hands
amongst the stars.
Instruments played
with kinetic breath
offer intricate sinuous summons
to ignite throes of passion
roped and coiled around
interplanetary turns
of material.
Shadowy tones
sully extinguishments
celestial light
encircles threads
on a solar spool.
The manner in which it happens
is the instrumental advantage
as it temporarily overtakes
calm earthy repose
and blinds the antics
between the sun and the moon
while its brilliant behavior passes.
